Mr. Paul Rein of The North Highland Company will discuss a Framework for Aligning
Strategic Goals with Operational Activities and Initiatives using Balanced Scorecard and
Six Sigma. His presentation will focus on best practices for business performance
measurements, as well as how to link the tools used by both Corporate (Balanced Scorecard)
and Operations (Dashboards).
Biographical
Summary
Paul Rein is a Principal with The North Highland Company, a management and
technology consulting company delivering strategic and tactical business solutions to
Fortune 1000 clients and government agencies. He has 19 years of industry and
consulting experience in various industries including healthcare, telecommunications,
hospitality, non-profit, and transportation. As a North
Highland consultant, Paul has led various process
improvement, cost reduction, and revenue
capture initiatives. He has been a key player in developing
North Highland's framework for linking Performance Management and Six Sigma to the
Balanced Scorecard. He is currently applying this framework at American
Healthways and Spheris in Nashville, TN. Prior to North Highland,
Paul held multiple positions throughout BellSouth's Finance organization before
leading their Information Technology Performance Management group. Paul received his
BA in
Accounting
and Operations Research & Information Systems from Eastern Michigan University, and
his MBA in Decision Sciences from Georgia State University. |
