The Florida Department of Health's Quality Improvement Program

Since health is a subject that each of us has a vested interest in,  this program will explore what are the new initiatives that the State of Florida's Department of Health has undertaken with regards to quality.  Our speaker, Lynne Drawdy who has a breadth of experience in the field of Public Health and Quality, will provide an overview on the FL Dept of Health and the types of services they offer.  In addition, she will cover what's new in the Department's Quality program:

The  Approach:  the "Sterling Criteria for Organizational Performance Excellence"

and

The Measurement aspect:  the "County Health Department Report Card"

If you need credits for re-certification, take advantage of this workshop and attend the

Pre-Meeting Workshop  6:15 - 7pm

"Integrating ISO14001:2004 into your Quality System"

With more customers demanding environmental awareness as well as quality standards certification, how do you meet these requirements with limited resources and without killing yourself?  Here is a quality manager's perspective on how to manage and quickly integrate an Environmental Management System into your existing Quality System.
