Meeting Topic: "What's
the Buzz about TRIZ and How does it Apply to Quality ?"
TRIZ (Russian
acronym for "Theory of Solving Problems Inventively) is a
"left brained" inventive tool kit derived from the
study of patterns of invention in the top few percent of truly
breakthrough patents in the global patent literature. It
relies on scientific analysis of problems and patterns for
solution as opposed to random psychological stimulation.
It is primarily used to resolve contradictions in
product design, especially in cases where designs and
performance have been compromised rather than achieve optimal
performance. The TRIZ tool kit will be reviewed and
methods for its use in improving product and process quality
will be discussed.
If
you need credits for re-certification, take advantage of this
workshop and attend the

various management systems of an organization. Also an
example of managing inventory will be highlighted showing
practically how to determine an integrated view of a
process, while taking into account the different
