"Selling Quality to the Top"

Meeting Information April's Meeting is a Breakfast Meeting

Selling Quality to the Top

(Hints for Getting and Keeping Top Management’s Attention)

“Management Commitment to Quality” is one of the biggest concerns expressed by

functional workers and quality professionals in organizations around the world.

With top-level dedication, employee-initiated changes have increased customer

satisfaction, throughput, revenues and profits. Without management commitment,

efforts to sustain product and process improvements usually stagnate and fail.

The question is, “Can today’s quality professionals be better prepared to serve as part

of the solution, or are they contributing to the problem?”

In this thought-provoking and informative session, Wayne will help participants learn:

bullet

The Top 10 Things You Won’t Hear About Quality;

bullet

Why many Quality terms and metrics create obstacles to progress;

bullet

How “Big-Q and “Little-Q” are needed to keep top management attention;

bullet

How to avoid the frustration of fads and fashionable “improvement programs”;

bullet

Five Ways To Improve Personal Impact With Executives and Top Managers.
