Anita Carlos, VP of Quality Assurance at SAIC
Ms Carlos graduated form the Texas A&M in Mathematics
with Graduate Studies from
Troy State University and the University of
Nebraska. She has received numerous awards
and accolades from SAIC and various customers
throughout the Department of Defense.
She is a Certified Quality Analyst (renamed Certified
Software Quality Analyst) from the
Quality Assurance Institute and also a member of the
ASQ.
Ms Carlos has over twenty-five years work experience
in systems/software engineering,
program management and Quality Assurance (QA),
Quality Management, Configuration
Management, earned value project management,
performance-based acquisitions,
performance measurements, and process improvement,
and metrics analysis and collection.
Ms. Carlos is currently responsible for maintaining,
and implementing the Quality Assurance,
Configuration Management, and Process Improvement
Programs for the Analysis,
Simulations, Systems Engineering, and Training
(ASSET) Business Unit in SAIC which
has 2,200 employees. Ms Carlos directs, manages and
assists 35+ Quality Assurance,
Configuration Management, and Process Improvement
personnel. She chairs the ASSET
BU Process and Technology Steering Committee,
participates on the SAIC Defense
Solutions Group and Corporate Systems and Software
Process Groups and was
responsible for establishing and currently maintains
the SAIC Quality Center of Excellence.
