Topic	ISO AS9100 - What's the difference between AS9100 and ISO9000. The presentation will be a review of the construct of the AS9100 standard, highlighting requirements that are in the AS9100 standard but not in ISO9000
Speaker	Donna Herring, Director Corporate Quality, United Space Alliance Donna is the Company Director of Quality for United Space Alliance (USA) and USA’s Space Shuttle Program Contract. She has a Bachelors’ degree from Radford University and a Masters from Florida Tech. Donna started her career in the United States Army Quartermaster Corp serving in the U.S. and Korea. She has progressively worked her way through a variety of disciplines including Logistics, Systems Engineering, and Quality with increasing levels of responsibility including initial certification of Lockheed Space Operations to certification to ISO9001. In 1996, she transitioned to United Space Alliance where she continued a career progression through Quality Assurance activities including Audit, Quality Systems, and Quality Engineering. As the Director for Quality she is responsible for the maintenance of the Quality Management System and Procurement Quality Assurance and led initiatives taking USA to AS9100 certification. She completed Lean Six Sigma Black Belt training and has sponsored numerous projects resulting in significant cost reductions and cycle time improvements. Donna is married with four adult children and enjoys travel, art, wine and cooking.
