Lean Manufacturing Simulation

If you’ve always wanted to build an airplane but never had the chance, this is your opportunity!  Join us as we construct a fleet of flight [un]worthy aircraft in a one hour simulation.  In addition to making planes, participants are given the opportunity to compare traditional manufacturing practices to cellular manufacturing, pull systems and single piece flow.  This interactive simulation also emphasizes the importance of workload balance, cross-functional teamwork and communication.  It is completed in an iterative process so that comparisons can be made as participants transition through the four phases of the simulation.

Please note:  no prior experience or FAA license required!
