IDEAS-The Driving Force of Mitsubishi Power Systems Americas

Session Abstract

Mitsubishi Power Systems, Americas is using their IDEAS Program to document, track and implement continuous improvements generated by the MTWI Program. The true foundation of our business is our Employees. Our IDEAS program first brought the team together by seeking continuous improvement without monetary rewards. The IDEAS Program helped develop an atmosphere of teamwork and shared goals. This enabled MPSA to implement the first TWI Programs, Job Relations and Job Instruction. The IDEAS Program helped determine JI events. JI helped establish Standard Work. Job Methods completed the cycle of Ideas, team building, improved instructions and continuous improvement. The IDEAS Program and MTWI have become the way of running business at MPSA.
