House of Modular Kaizen materials (and more!) from Grace Duffy
Two texts
available for free on the Public Health Foundation website:
Modular kaizen is
a thinking process for decision makers. It includes specific tools
designed to help teams make logical, informed choices during an event
which disrupts the stable state of a defined process. Modular kaizen
is an application of Lean Six Sigma techniques designed to support
highly interrupted work environments.

Applications and Tools for Creating and Sustaining Healthy Teams is
designed to be a guide for organizations that have had marginal
success with teams or are exploring how to launch successful teams.
The authors have been involved with over a thousand teams as sponsors,
team leaders, and facilitators. This book is based on what makes
teams successful. We invited other authors w ho are actively involved
in successfully using problem-solving teams in a healthcare or public
health environment. The guest authors provide their perspective on
what works to create high-performing teams.

Both of these
texts are created as PDF files to encourage download and sharing.
Grace and her fellow authors wish all users the highest success in

Employment Opportunities
Due to the number of requests, your ASQ chapter is posting information about ASQ
1509 members looking for employment opportunities.
Those looking for opportunities may have their personal information posted on the
Employment Opportunities Web page.
The Employment Opportunities page will now contain both information
about any new employment openings as well as information
about ASQ 1509 members looking for employment. If you wish to have
your personal career information posted on this page, please
provide the your ASQ member number along with the information you wish posted to
jessica.coulon@lmco.com, using the subject line
"Employment Opportunity".
If you know of any employment opportunities in the Quality field, you may contact
jessica.coulon@lmco.com with the information for posting to
this page.
Postings will remain on the page for 3
months.
It is not ASQ 1509s
intent to compete with a job placement service, but to assist ASQ 1509 members
in their search for employment opportunities.
ASQ 1509 will assume
no responsibility for the accuracy of the postings and will assume no liabilities for
these postings.
ASQ 1509 is providing
the "looking for employment opportunities" benefit to ASQ 1509 members only.
Take a tour of the UCF ASQ web
